  • Move details, including origin address, destination address, move date, property type, and related logistics
  • Scheduling preferences, availability, and communication preferences
  • Information submitted through Dubsado intake forms, contact forms, or other booking tools
  • Feedback, reviews, testimonials, or other content you submit to us

1.2 Payment Information

Third-party processors, including Stripe and Dubsado, handle payment processing. We do not store, transmit, or have access to your full credit card number, CVV, or complete payment credentials on our own systems. The security standards and privacy policies of the applicable payment processor govern the processing of payment data. We may retain records of transaction amounts, dates, and confirmation identifiers for accounting, legal, and dispute-resolution purposes.

1.3 Analytics and Website Usage Data

When you visit our Site, our third-party service providers and we may automatically collect certain technical and behavioral data, including:

  • IP address and general geographic location derived from it

3. SMS Communications

We do not use SMS messaging for broad promotional text campaigns unrelated to your service engagement.

Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of purchase or service. Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan. Message frequency varies based on your engagement with our services.

To opt out of SMS messages at any time, reply STOP to any text message you receive from us. You may also contact us directly to update your communication preferences. After opting out, you may receive one final confirmation message.

Mobile phone numbers and SMS opt-in consent collected by The Easy Move will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing, promotional, or commercial purposes.


4. How We Share Your Information

4.1 Third-Party Service Providers

We share information with third-party service providers that perform functions on our behalf in connection with our business operations. These providers are permitted to use your information only to the extent necessary to perform their designated functions and are not authorized to use it for their own independent purposes. Current service providers may include:

  • Dubsado: client management, intake forms, contracts, invoicing, and scheduling
  • Stripe: payment processing and transaction management
  • Google: analytics (Google Analytics) and advertising (Google Ads)
  • Meta (Facebook): advertising, retargeting, and audience matching via Meta Pixel and related tools
  • Zapier: workflow automation and integration between business tools
  • Other tools and platforms used in connection with business operations, communications, analytics, or marketing

We engage these providers as service providers and processors acting on our behalf. We do not sell your personal information to any of these providers or to any other party.

4.2 No Sale of Personal Information

We do not sell, rent, lease, trade, or otherwise transfer your personal information to third parties for their own marketing, advertising, or commercial purposes. Any sharing described in this Policy is limited to what is necessary to operate our business and deliver our services.

4.3 Legal Obligations and Protection of Rights

We may disclose your information without prior notice if required to do so by applicable law, regulation, legal process, or governmental authority. We may also disclose information where we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to: (a) comply with a legal obligation; (b) protect the rights, property, or safety of The Easy Move, our clients, or others; (c) detect, investigate, or prevent fraud or security incidents; or (d) enforce our Terms of Use or other agreements.

5. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as is necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy and to comply with applicable legal, regulatory, accounting, and contractual obligations.

Specifically:

  • Client records, including intake data, signed service agreements, payment records, project files, and correspondence, are retained for a minimum of five (5) years to support tax and accounting compliance, legal protection, dispute resolution, and chargeback defense.
  • Analytics and advertising platform data is retained in accordance with the applicable third-party platform's data retention practices and as permitted by applicable law.
  • SMS consent records are retained for the duration of our service relationship with you and for a reasonable period thereafter, consistent with applicable legal and compliance requirements.
  • Inquiry and pre-engagement contact information is retained for a reasonable business period for follow-up and recordkeeping purposes.

When continued retention is no longer necessary, and no legal obligation requires us to keep the data, we will delete or anonymize it in the ordinary course of business. We are not obligated to delete information we are legally, contractually, or operationally required to retain.


6. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have certain rights regarding the personal information we hold about you, including the right to access, correct, update, or request deletion of that information.

We will notify you if we are unable to fulfill your request and explain the basis for our decision to the extent permitted by law.

These measures include the use of reputable third-party platforms with their own security standards and limited access to personal information within our operations.

We cannot guarantee the absolute security of your information, and we disclaim liability for any unauthorized access or breach that occurs despite our reasonable precautions. You transmit information to us at your own risk.
